Patient Transportation is more commonly provided by private companies who provide their patient transport services to make money.

Non-emergency patient transport services are usually provided by ambulance. Patient transports help thousands of patients every working day with medical needs for transport to access healthcare services. Medical need is determined by a Doctor, Dentist or Midwife. Each patient should be able to reach the hospital in a reasonable time and in reasonable comfort, without detriment to their medical condition.
